Alison Reilly (Principal)

RAD CBTS, EDTA (Lic), Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management

Alison has 40 years experience teaching dance, and opened Reilly Dance Academy in 1991. She wanted to create an environment in which she could share her passion for dance, instil correct dance technique and give students the opportunity to experience the joy of performing. She has created a strong studio culture of inclusivity, support and teamwork. Everybody is part of the RDA team.

Tegan Baumgart

Bachelor of Education (Primary), Highly Accomplished Teacher (National Accreditation), Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, GWT Accredited Teacher, RSD Gold Accredited Teacher

Tegan started dancing at RDA at the age of 4 and has loved dancing ever since. Progressing successfully though all of her exams she now heads up our READY SET DANCE Department, Junior Jazz and Tap Department. Tegan loves all facets of dance, with tap being her favourite. She builds a classroom culture of inclusion and believes that dancing is for everyone!

Cherie Webb

Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science, Diploma in Dance Teaching and Management, Masters in Education (Primary), RSD Gold Accredited Teacher

Cherie started dancing at RDA at the age of 2 years, doing all facets of dance and completing her exams to a high standard. She teaches a broad range of students, from our youngest READY SET BALLET students to intermediate level. She enjoys seeing the students’ confidence grow, technique develop and progress on their dance journey.

Genevieve Reilly

Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts, RSD Silver Accredited Teacher, Currently studying a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management

Gen began dancing at RDA at 2 years of age, achieving all her exams to a high standard including RAD Advanced 2 Ballet. She completed an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts at ED5 International, and has performed a number of contracts with Carnival Cruises. She has also appeared on Australia’s Got Talent, and in the musical Candyman. Gen heads up our Musical Theatre Department and works with our advanced students across all genres. She is passionate about helping students achieve their personal goals, and staying on top of current dance trends. Gen especially enjoys the creative process of choreographing.
